6) Blog at least once a week.
I love writing. I love blogging, sending it out into the internet universe and am always surprised when people comment on my blogs. I kinda do it just for me, it’s purely a selfish pursuit, and I love it. Problem is, sometimes I just don’t feel motivated to write. Which is why I will probably never make money off this thing. I write when the mood strikes, and often, it doesn’t strike every day (or month for the matter). But I vow this year, to at least write something (even if it’s a boring day’s quandary), if only to make myself feel like a writer.
7) Do a crossword everyday.
Honestly, I am really bad at crosswords. Like really, really bad. Yet I still keep at them. I just recently finished a crossword from the Monday’s RedEye. Yeah, I know, that’s how bad I am. But I am getting a crossword a day calendar today (even though it’s from the NY Times(!)) so I vow to at least try and solve one up and one down each day this year. (and I blame my cousin Tom for getting me hooked on crosswords years ago…I was doing fine before then!)
