Let’s play a little game called “I speculate”, and then let’s apply it to all the season finales of the past two weeks. Ready? Go.
First off, I speculate…there will be *SPOILERS* in all these postings.

ONE TREE HILL

I speculate…that One Tree Hill will climb its last hill in 2008-2009 season. First off, this finale was nothing like the crashed limo of two seasons past…but of course, something has to happen to Dan, because something always does.  Ah, my guilty set-in-North-Carolina pleasure. I hope nothing in the fall comes out set in North Carolina or I’m in trouble…

I speculate…Lucas called Lindsay. Because Brooke was waiting for Angie’s call (she may need a new heart, but I am sure she already has a cell!), and Peyton had the odd Mia has a friend who knew Ellie storyline, so she was waiting for a call. So Lindsay was perhaps the only one waiting for a call. But come on folks, in this day in age? It’s called caller ID. So maybe Lucas didn’t call any of them. Maybe he called his mom….or perhaps they are bringing back yet another character so they can exploit that storyline even more…Season 6=last season, can’t you see?

I speculate….that I will rent or buy all the prior seasons and fast forward through season 3 to get to the juicy season 4 (was that the one with Haley on tour?), and I will still watch season 6 like the loyal CW chick that I am.

I speculate….that Gavin DeGraw is either A) dating Peyton in real life…B) Hurtin’ for some publicity for his new album…or C) is the father of that cute-he’s-almost-annoying kid…what was with the pre-credits cameo?

SAMANTHA WHO?

I speculate…Christina Applegate’s hair will be the new Rachel haircut.

I speculate…that this show won’t see beyond season 2 (come on, Todd already kissed her! No drama there!)

I speculate…that a storyline of amnesia only has the shelf-life of marshmallows…fluffy for a while until some air gets into the bag (hello, writer’s strike) and then they are all icky and stale. Then you throw them out and get another bag. See my point, ABC?

WOMEN’S MURDER CLUB

I speculate…that my hair will never look as good as that blonde’s.

I speculate…that Lindsay’s dad will not die (cause I think he’s signed up for another season), but will be paralyzed and she will have to perform her daughterly duties.

I speculate…that the long-distance relationship will not last. (spoken like the queen of it that I am…)

I speculate…that this show will join the ranks of Law and Order, CSI, and just keep going and going…hoping for a new time slot, and it should be fine. These shows are just machines. There is enough crazy-ass stuff in the news that this show has material for a millennia…

AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL

I speculate…that I wasn’t the only one surprised by the outcome that was Whitney. Me likey the Whitney.

I speculate…that she is not a size 10, rather, she is a size 6, which looks like a 10 on camera.

I speculate…she will not be walking in a Versace runway ever again, but that she will have modeling contracts for years to come.

I speculate…that if Anya would take vocal lessons (I could not STAND when she talked), she could’ve beaten Whitney to a pulp.

I speculate…that I will either see Katarshinyna (or whatever her name is) in either a Times Square Gucci ad or a Las Vegas club flyer.

I speculate…that I will never tire of these shows until they run out of material.

BROTHERS AND SISTERS

I speculate…that even though its weird that they kissed, I still want to see that Rebecca/Justin storyline evolve.

I speculate…Kitty will “suddenly” become pregnant by no fault of her own.

I speculate…that the “mystery kid” will be Latino…I can just feel it…

I speculate…that Saul needs to get a life or be written out of the show.

I speculate…that this show makes me want to have fifteen kids so they can all take care of me when I am old and useless.

I speculate…I will retract the above sentence when I have my first child.

I still have a bunch more shows to watch that do NOT include Dancing With The Stars (entirely overrated) or American Idol (yawn). But I am excited for summer replacements like SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE!!!!! Oh, baby. Love that show. Watch replays of it on MTV this last weekend. I know, I’m a dork, but I love love love it! Have been watching Step It Up and Dance, but yawn, I’m bored.

Once I see Grey’s, Betty, and Lost, I think I am officially done with this crazy season of TV! Onto the re-runs and DVDs…it’s not like I am going to go outside and enjoy the summertime air….
